The signs of Spring....

Yesterday was my favorite day of the year... Daylight Savings! That extra hour of daylight is for me the first real sign that Spring is coming. And we are watching the lake thaw!

As John has been job hunting a HR person suggested he blog so people can see his writing skills... you can check him out and read a Spring story here.

Foggy Days...

N on-color days of grey, white, fog with tiny bits of color. Took a short walk this morning. Happy that my knee allowed this little walk and I got these great photos. The lake is starting to look like slush. Granted it is probably a foot or so of slush but it appears that no one is out there. But then I probably could not see them if they were.

Synesthesia, Part 2

Pondering last nights blog made me understand why I have such a hard time buying perfume. I spent the better part of a year going to perfume counter after perfume counter. When asked what kind of perfume I wanted I always said I wanted something that smelled green. And when they didn't understand I'd say, or yellow...I did find a perfume I liked DKNY, Be Delicious. It not only smells green but is in a apple shaped silver and green container. So they made that one work. John likes to buy me perfume for our Anniversary. When he went out to get this I was trying to explain which perfume I wanted as they also have the same container but in red. And I don't want to smell red. He suggested I come along.
