date night & new orleans take out...

Sometime this Summer John started date night. And we alternate the planning. Last night was my night. The weather is fabulous this week to we had our last picnic of the year, which was also our first picnic of the year. We took the top down on the Miata and headed to New Orleans Take Out at 1920 Fordem Avenue for the food. I had a half order of crab cakes and John had the sausage jambalaya. Both were very good as usual.

But then food always tastes better outside. And this was our view from a bench on the point at Tenney Park. You can see the Capitol on the left.

Sadly the sun is setting earlier and earlier...
