heirloom tomato and onion quiche

 

yes I grew these. It was a pretty sad crop again this year. But my plan for next year is to put a big pot of tomatoes on the edge of the pier. Of course that only works if the lake is low and storms don't toss the pot in the lake.

Anyway I made this Heirloom Tomato and Onion Quiche and it was quite good Summer food. Normally I cook and for some reason I am in a sick of cooking mode this Summer. John is even taking one night a week.
