Observation Deck...

Last week we took a break from cleaning our apartment to go to the Capitol observation deck. We tried this 3-4 times over the last year with no success... too early in the year, too late in the year, lunchtime etc. So this time we made it and it was worth the effort. So if you get to the Capitol do go out on the deck.

You go out on the large lower balcony. It appears to be unsupervised which always surprises me about the Capitol. I have an early memory of being young and at the Capitol on a family trip. We went out on what I think was a much higher balcony. It is possible we were out on the really small, really high balcony which is now closed to the public.

It was a nice break in our cleaning and we were happy we did this while we still lived DT.
