the making of an activist

In reality, many of the political activists here in Wisconsin are ordinary citizens suddenly politicized by Governor Scott Walker’s non-negotiable approach and his far right agenda. With no experience serving as leaders of a mass uprising, they’ve found creative ways to make themselves useful since the protests began in February. I guess I’m one of this newly-created group of ordinary citizens doing what I can to make sure people in Wisconsin keep paying attention to the havoc our Governor is wreaking. Here are photos of signs I saw when energetic thousands rallied again in Madison last Saturday. Mine read “This sign is too small for all my protest.”
