this is what democracy looks like...

Saturday down at the Capitol everything was big, the crowd was big, the noise was big and the tractors were big.

On Saturday family farmers from across the dairyland brought tractors and solidarity to the Wisconsin Capitol to fight for collective bargaining rights and a just state budget.

Family farmers and rural communities will be disproportionately hurt by the cuts to Badercare and education, and family farmers in Wisconsin stand with state workers, and all working and middle class families in the state.

My favorite shot was of this young farmer Dad with his teen tractor driver.

If you want you can support family farmers who brought their tractors to the Capitol on Saturday! Here is the link.

Ian's Pizza has received donations from all 50 states and many, many countries to provide free pizza to the demonstrators.

In addition to the tractors on the outer ring of the Capitol we got to see this row of Union Cabs circling, honking and waving!

If we could only be so lucky. Actually today I'd take Charlie Sheen for Governor.

Unfortunately we came home before the Fab 14 spoke at 3pm. The Tractorcade was at 11 and after 3+ hours out in a brisk wind we headed for home. I got a warm bath and a nap.

Remember that there is an election on April 5, plz vote. And here in an interesting link Total Recall. It tracks the 16 Wisconsin Senatorial Recall Campaigns, Republican and Democratic.

The times, they are a-changin'.
